What happens next?
The results of this survey will be used to underpin the plans of Regional Screen Agencies (RSAs) through which they hope to access funding from the Strategy1.
Once the mapping process has been completed, the RSAs will use the resulting information to inform their planning process, and to help to create a joined up strategic approach to stabilising regional collections and develop far greater use of these collections for audiences across England.
What will happen to the information from this survey?
It will only be made available to Regional Screen Agencies and members of the Screen Heritage Strategy working groups on a password protected website. This will enable all RSAs to identify collections of significant interest to them, regardless of where the collection is located. There will be no public access to this website but all respondents will receive a report on the findings by December 2008.
1Completion of this questionnaire will place your collection in a stronger position in terms of benefiting from this process although it does not of course act as a guarantee of future funding or other support.
