The Survey

The following questionnaire is divided into three main areas. We are seeking information on:

1. The Moving Image collections

This is so we can gauge the size, content, significance and potential condition of any collections, and whether these are original collections, or prints, or copies in either film, video tape or digital formats.

2. The holders of the collections

This is to establish ownership of the collections, where and how they are kept and used, and whether there are any barriers that prevent holders from accessing and using collections – for example, holders may not have the equipment or facilities to provide access to the collections, or copyright issues may restrict usage

3. The ability of the collection holder to contribute to the Vision of the Strategy for Screen Heritage in securing the long term preservation of the collections, making them publicly accessible, and contributing to other initiatives within the Strategy for UK Screen Heritage.
